Valentine's Day 2018

In honor of Valentine's Day, I decided to do a couple session with my boyfriend and blog about it.  Because what could be better than that?!

The day started with a trip to Tease Hair and Body Parlor.  I got a blowout from the amazing Carolina.  Check her out on Instagram.  I love how it turned out and it looked great all day long!  The photo shoot wasn't until the evening and it still looked amazing hours later.

My next stop was makeup at Sephora.  One of my boudoir clients raves about the service there so I decided to give it a try.  I went to the Crocker Park location.  I went in and requested a very bold look.  It looked amazing but I haven't seen myself with that much makeup on in a VERY long time!  Kind of scared me at first.  I imagine it's the same feeling my clients experience at times.

I really love that my boyfriend is always down for a photo shoot.  I'm definitely not the easiest person to do a photo shoot with.  I'm very particular, always have to pose on "my good side," and I become a little bit of a dictator when it comes to facial expressions.  My boyfriend has a hard time with the "Vogue/GQ look so we usually just end up with shots of us laughing because I'm yelling at him the entire time, telling him to be serious.  As a photographer, I know that telling people not to smile immediately gets them to smile but for some reason I still expect him to just not.  I'm trying to reprogram his brain to not do the "smile and say cheese" thing that everyone is programmed to do as a child.  PSA: It makes professional photographers cringe.  I will probably never ask you to say cheese so get that word out of your head.  There are plenty of better words to think about!  Cheese is really delicious though....but enough about cheese, back to boudoir couple sessions.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, if you haven't done a couple session, you totally should.  We have fun.  We laugh.  It's not at all a painful experience.  Trust me!

Alex + Derek

I have to pinch myself every time I look through this gallery from Alex and Derek's wedding this summer.  Sometimes it's hard to believe I have such a cool job!  This wedding was gorgeous and I'm incredibly honored to have been a part of it.

The wedding took place at Ewing Cultural Center in Bloomington, Illinois.  If you've never visited this town or this venue, you have to make a trip out there!  It's such a cute location.   Just look at this place!  I was in photographer heaven!

There was plenty of room in this venue to have both Alex and Derek to get ready in different sections of the mansion.  So. Many. Stunning. Photos.

The bride and groom attended Illinois Wesleyan University, which is located just minutes from this gorgeous venue.  We even did the first look on campus at the Joslin Atrium.  How perfect is it that they had their first look at the location where they first met?!  It was probably the most romantic first look I've ever captured.

We had just enough time to stop and get some shots of Alex and Derek around the gorgeous campus.

We also ran into a fraternity.  We got some cute shots of the bride throwing water balloons at the freshmen.  And considering that it was like a hundred degrees on this day, they weren't complaining at all!

And as if this day wasn't already perfect enough, the bride surprised the groom with a song that she not only wrote, but also played for him on the piano and sang to him at the same time.  She has the voice of an angel!  Every single person in the room was crying.  All of the women had to fix their makeup.  I had to mop off my camera because I had cried all over it the entire time.  Seriously, this couple is #couplegoals.  This was just the sweetest, most perfect moment I've ever witnessed!

The ceremony was perfect.  DUH!  They wrote super cute vows and read them to one another.  Made us laugh and cry some more.  Once again I had to wipe tears off of my camera.

And just look at the reception!  Could it be more ADORABLE?!  Simple but amazing.  They even had a s'mores station.  #dreamwedding

Words simply cannot express how magical this day was.  The perfect couple at the perfect venue on the perfect summer day.  I couldn't ask for more <3

Jimmy + Sarah

I had the incredible opportunity to shoot a New Year's Eve wedding last month.  The decor was AMAZING!  The snow was MAGICAL!  The bride and groom were GORGEOUS!  It was seriously the most perfect wedding!  I couldn't imagine a better way to ring in the new year.

Getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception were all held at The Schoenbrunn Conference Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  What a great space for a wedding!  Plus the colors and floral arrangements made the venue look like absolute PERFECTION!

The groom had the coolest jacket and accessories from Men's Wearhouse.  His bow tie and cuff links were by Pronto Uomo from Men's Wearhouse.  The groomsmen wore suits from Men's Wearhouse as well and the groom's son wore the cutest suit to match his dad.

The guys had some time to relax and hang out while the girls got ready in another suite.  They prepped up before the ceremony with some Woodford Reserve whiskey.

Sarah was drop dead gorgeous in her wedding dress.  She looked like a princess!  And the shots of her in the snow at golden hour...seriously breathtaking!

The guests lined up to toss rose petals at the couple after the ceremony ended.  It was such a fun idea considering it was FREEZING outside that night.  The reception was so beautiful, the first dances made me cry like a baby, and the couple is seriously the sweetest.  They are so adorable together <3

Jimmy, Sarah, and their wedding party decided to brave the cold for some amazing night shots in the snow.  Our fingers and toes went numb but it was so WORTH IT!  They chose an amazing location called The Warther Museum and Gardens in Dover, Ohio.  It was the PERFECT spot for the group photos as well as some shots of the couple alone.

Having all of your friends and family under one roof on the happiest day of your life… I couldn't imagine a better way to ring in the new year.  If you’re planning a wedding, and the goal is to host an epic party, New Year’s Eve is where it’s at!

Bloomtastic Florist

I had the chance to visit the CUTEST flower shop called Bloomtastic Florist!  They service the Columbus area and they're located at 2136 Arlington Ave.  Bloomtastic Florist is both a retail shop and wedding

The street the shop is located on is absolutely adorable!  Bloomtastic Florist is surrounded by a bunch of great little shops, including a cafe, called South of Lane.  It would be perfect to visit after your planning appointment with Bloomtastic to discuss the floral arrangements for your wedding day!

The staff at this floral shop is AMAZING!  They're such a fun group and they really love what they do.  They're a great team to work with for your special day!  They even have a wall of cards and thank you notes from past clients, which definitely say a lot about the service they provide.

The inside of the shop is super CUTE.  There's so much great natural light which makes the space so bright and cheery.

So if you're getting married near downtown Columbus, stop in and check them out.  You're going to love them!

Jasmin + David

I can't even put into words how much I LOVE documenting proposals!  And when I get to work with clients as sweet as Jasmin and David, it makes the experience even better.

David planned a very special night out to a "holiday work party."  Jasmin had no idea that David had dedicated a great amount of time and effort towards making December 2nd a very special day for them both.

The proposal took place at Le petit Triangle Cafe.  Jasmin's family and best friend even arrived early to set up and surprise her as well.  Jasmin and David showed up looking like celebrities.  Jasmin looked absolutely stunning!  Her hair looked perfect.  Her makeup looked perfect.  Her outfit looked perfect.  It was as if she had prepared for a photo shoot.

I arrived early to scout the area and find the perfect place to stand when David popped the question.  And what a perfect day it was too!  It was chilly but the sun was shining and the weather was pretty darn pleasant considering it's Cleveland and it was December.

Jasmin had the best reaction.  The sheer surprise, tears of joy, and pure excitement made the moment perfect.  Strangers even stopped to watch the proposal and made their way over to congratulate them after.

Being there with them in that moment and getting to share in their happiness and seeing absolute strangers being impacted by their special moment, it just makes the world feel perfect.  These types of moment make me love my job.  I can't even put into words how lucky I am to be able to do this for a living.  My clients inspire me each and every day.  Their love stories give me hope and remind me of what's really important in life.  I love being surrounded by this type of energy.

Congratulations Jasmin and David!  I wish you all of the happiness in the world.  You two deserve it!

Valentine's Day Boudoir

I'm so excited to be collaborating with Tease Hair and Body Parlor located in downtown Lakewood.  I love the location of this salon!  It's right next to The Root Cafe and Lion & Blue.

I have a Valentine's Day display with samples of my boudoir photography displayed in the salon.  Look at how amazing this place is!  I love the Lakewood charm and the vibe of Tease.  It's literally my dream space for shooting boudoir sessions!  The lighting, the furniture,  the hardwood floors, the gorgeous natural light, the tall ceilings.  I love it all!

If you're planning to do a Valentine's Day boudoir session, there's not much time left to book!  Contact me today if you're considering gifting some products to your significant other this year.

Stop by the salon for a service and to check out the display!  You can also find out more information about Tease on their Instagram page.

Kate + Tina

Some people love cats and some people love dogs.  Some people use these specifics likes to find their perfect match.  Some people, like Kate and Tina, learn to appreciate their differences in preference for pets.  Tina loves dogs, Kate loves cats, and they both love each other.

I love how their very different personalities compliment one another so well.  Working with these two was so much fun.  I loved capturing the dynamics of their relationship on camera.

October weddings in Cleveland are so unpredictable.  We can have gorgeous fall colors, freezing cold rain, or maybe even some snow.  My October wedding portfolio is so diverse, you’d never guess they are all a few weeks apart.

Kate and Tina got married on October 28th.  They chose a masquerade theme with black, white, and ivory as their wedding colors.

Kate’s wedding dress was a gorgeous tea length gown.  Having a tea length wedding dress was the perfect choice because she didn't have to worry about it getting muddy from the damp grass during the first look and formals.  She chose a birdcage veil which complimented her dress perfectly.  Her bridal jewelry were a perfect addition as well.

Kate isn’t a high heels kind of girl so she decided on classic Chucks instead.  In fact, the entire wedding party wore Converse Chuck Taylors.

Kate and Tina decided to do a first look at Bradley Woods Reservation.  It was a cold and windy day but the colors looked gorgeous in the park.  It was a great location for their wedding party shots too!

The ceremony and reception were held at Wagners of Westlake.  The gorgeous cake was created by Top Tier Cakes.  More of their amazing cake samples can be found on their website.

Another cute detail was the cookie favors created by A Little Carried Away.  They were a wedding favor given to all of the guests.  I highly recommend checking them out and contacting Carrie if you have a specialty cookie order in mind.  Her designs are beautiful, and the cookies are delicious!

Everyone had a great time at the reception that evening.  Congratulations Kate and Tina!

That's a wrap!

I learned a lot about myself this past weekend.  I learned that I’d much rather be the one pointing a camera at someone than be the one it’s pointed towards, I learned that I get really stressed out knowing I have to look really presentable for a photo shoot, and most importantly I learned that I have ABSOLUTELY NO future in being on television or in movies!  I never realized how difficult it is to sit in front of a camera and talk to it while it records my voice and the way I’m sitting and every movement I make and the exact way my hair and makeup looks (without the ability to Photoshop it later.)  It was probably the most nerve wracking experience I’ve had in a long time.  It was on par with interviewing for medical school, only it was wayyy more embarrassing.   But I made it through that portion of the filming and we got to the part where we actually film me in action, doing what I love to do.

There was only one problem....I picked a location that happened to have a giant winter festival taking place in the exact spot I wanted to film the video!  That was a little bit of poor planning, but I didn’t get this far in life without being a great problem solver.  I quickly chose a new location and we got there in time for golden hour.

While the Cleveland Museum of Art is a really gorgeous place to film a promo video, the Rockefeller Park & Greenhouse is equally as beautiful.  One thing that went even better than planned was the weather we had last Sunday!  I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect December day in Cleveland.  It.  Was.  Perfection.

Another amazing part of the day was working with Tiffany and Greg.  I did an engagement session with them this summer and LOVED how their gallery turned out.  I knew they would be the perfect couple for my promotional video.  They’re an adorable couple with great chemistry, and it shows on camera!  They do a great job with my goofy prompts and we all have a really great time when we work together.

After a lonnnng do of prepping for the video and filming, I immediately went home and edited the gallery.  To say I was happy with the results is definitely an understatement.  Seeing the finished gallery from Sunday makes me so excited to see the final promotional video.

I hired an incredibly talented woman named Amanda Ellis of Amanda Ellis Photography + Films.  She specializes in newborn photography and film making.  Her promotional videos are captivating and moving.  She is amazing at what she does.  Her attention to detail makes everything come together in the most perfect way.  I can’t wait to see the final product!

Working with couples brings me an incredible amount of happiness.  I love it all – engagement sessions, anniversary sessions, working with married couples, working with couples on their wedding day, and couple boudoir sessions.  Photography is a career that I can see myself immersed in and loving for the rest of my life.  The joy this job brings me is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.  It makes every day exciting and fuels me.  My photography company motivates me to set challenging goals and work hard to achieve them.  I’m so thankful for the ability to pursue a career that is my passion.  And while running a business can be quite challenging, I can’t imagine a job doing anything else.

Wish of a Lifetime

I had the amazing opportunity to work with an organization called Wish of a Lifetime.  Wish of a Lifetime is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to seniors in the community.  Their mission to is shift the way society views and values our oldest generations.  They envision a world in which society embraces aging and the inherent wisdom that accompanies it, where seniors are celebrated for their accomplishments and sacrifices, and where intergenerational connections are part of our daily lives.  Wish of a Lifetime started in Colorado but the organization fulfills wishes all across the United States, including beautiful OHIO.

I had the pleasure of documenting a wish for a woman named Jane.  She attended Canton McKinley High School and played in the marching band.  She read in the local paper that the stadium had been fully renovated.  Her wish was to visit the stadium and see the marching band play.

IMG_9717-2.jpg

Wish of Lifetime went above and beyond with her wish!  And the staff at Canton McKinley High School was absolutely phenomenal.  Everyone did such an amazing job in order to make Jane’s day so special.

CLB_3845.jpg

I arrived at the Canton Symphony Center and met with Lisa Reicosky, the Canton McKinley Communications Manager.  She did an exceptional job at welcoming me and Jane’s family.  We then waited for Jane to arrive.

Shortly after she arrived we all took the elevator up to the 7th floor of the stadium to get a better view of the field.  Canton McKinley High School even welcomed Jane with a message on a sign overlooking the stadium.  Jane was thrilled when she saw it!

A few staff members stopped by to say hello to Jane.  The school principal even stopped by.   While he visited, Jane took at look at the yearbook from her senior year. She showed him her senior picture and read her senior quote to the group.  The high school band director also stopped by to talk to Jane.  We all listened as she reminisced about her days playing in the marching band.

The next surprise was from the high school marching band.  They performed their halftime show just for Jane.  Watching her during this performance brought tears to my eyes.  It was such a special moment for me and I had never even met Jane before this day.  There was so much joy there at that moment as I looked at the faces of Jane’s children and the people who had coordinated this day for her.  It’s one of those rare moments in life where happiness is all that exists and the whole world feels perfect.

After the performance, the band director presented Jane with a certificate thanking her for the time she had committed to the band during her high school years.  And since she played the flute in high school, he brought one for Jane to try out.  She told us she hadn’t played in over 40 years but she gave it a try anyway.  Her children were all smiles as they watched her.

The final part of Jane’s day was a tour of the new stadium.  The renovation is just breathtaking.  It is THE most beautiful high school stadium I’ve ever seen in my life.  Jane got to see a luxury suite before we all went up to the rooftop deck to see an amazing view of the field.  (Note: if you’re afraid of heights I don’t advise looking over the railing.  Boy were we high up!)

We retuned back to the 7th floor to have some Canon McKinley themed cookies that were specially made for Jane’s day.  They were delicious and a giant platter of them was sent home with Jane.

I love that being a photographer gives me the ability to participate in events like this.  Though I operate out of Cleveland, I'm constantly traveling all over Ohio, and into the surrounding states, to work.  I'll travel nearly anywhere to do photography.  I love the adventure!

A 12 hour senior shoot that spans 150 miles? I'm game!

No doubt about it, Morgan is a GORGEOUS young woman, but her beauty was accentuated by the fact that her outfit choices were. on. point!  I love when a client allows me to raid their closet and jewelry collection.  Morgan definitely had a lot of great options for me to choose from!

She also had a really unique shoot because we used 2 completely different locations.  Being a wedding photographer, multiple locations aren’t something new to me, but hers were almost 3 HOURS apart!  One was in and around Nobel County and the other was in downtown Cleveland.  We did the first location at sunset the first night and then sunrise the following day.  Two very gorgeous looks that resulted in an amazing gallery.

It was literally my DREAM senior shoot.  Half in the country, half in the city.  I don’t get to shoot barns very often so I was in heaven having so many new backdrops to work with!  Morgan even chose all of the spots that we used for the photos we took in and near Nobel County.

Our first stop was the Guernsey County Fairground.  We got so. many. great. looks!  And the variation of backdrops....Holy cow!

We also got some great shots at a nearby farm but since we were losing good light, we hurried to our next spot.  She told me about this really great road we had to use.  We used a spot on State Route 513 right outside of Batesville.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the city, and I really enjoy shooting there, but it was really awesome to be have a change of scenery for this shoot.

Next we drove all the way back to Cleveland, got a few hours of sleep, and woke up bright and early do to a SUNRISE session in downtown Cleveland.  Just being honest, I rolled out of bed and grabbed my gear.  I’m definitely NOT a morning person.  However, Morgan got up a couple of hours early to make sure her hair and makeup looked amazing for the shoot.  Oh to be young again.  You can’t even tell that she literally only got 3 hours of sleep.  She looks gorgeous and well-rested!

“Getting up at 4:30am in the morning, after arriving in Cleveland at 12:30 was pretty rough but it was totally worth it!  I am completely IN LOVE with my senior pictures!!!!  They turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I had a blast taking them!”

Morgan was great to work with.  She has an amazing personality which made the shoot a lot of fun.  She didn’t even need that much instruction with posing!  She’s truly a natural!  This gorgeous senior attends Mid-East Career and Technology Center, located in Zanesville, Ohio.  She goes there for cosmetology and she even did her own hair and makeup for the shoot!  She’s definitely very talented.  I wish she lived closer so I could hire her myself!  Regardless of which career path she chooses after high school, I’m CERTAIN this incredible young lady will be awesome at it!

Your life become a masterpiece when you learn to master peace.

I had the opportunity to do a dream yoga shoot in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens this summer.  I have been following Ashley’s yoga journey with amazement.  Her progression has been really inspiring so I was so excited to be able to do a photo shoot with her!

“It both empowered me and challenged me – deepening both my practice and my relationship with my physical body.”
“Yoga is good for the soul, embrace it and you will be amazed at where it takes you.  Pairing beautiful flow with marvelous photography creates some breathtaking images.  I’m so grateful for Dana’s artistic eye and ability to create masterpieces.”
“Working with Dana was such a pleasure.  Her bubbly personality shows how passionate she is about her work.  Her positive attitude is contagious.  It really makes a difference when your photographer is as excited as you are!  Dana made me feel like a professional model, encouraging me and complimenting the shoot as we went on.”
“Dana has a knack for choosing great locations and poses, while still allowing the model to express herself too.  Most people are really stretching their comfort zones during a photo shoot, and because of that it’s so important that your photographer can make you comfortable.  I’m happy to say Dana’s confidence and gregarious attitude let me relax and feel totally at ease posing in front of her.  I can’t wait to work with her again!”

Your love life should be your favorite fairy tale

You may have seen the super romantic couple photos on Instagram and other social media and thought to yourself “I wish my husband and I had photos like that” or maybe even “There’s no way my finace and I could ever look that comfortable on camera.”

Well…

a.)     You can!

b.)    Ummm yes you can!

I believe in these types of sessions.  I think they are important and very meaningful.  It’s so easy to get comfortable in a relationship…to start taking one another for granted.  Classic story: It’s been years.  Every time you wake up they’re there.  And when you come home from work, they’re there.  And when you go to bed at night…you’ve got it…. they’re there.  And there hasn’t been a time yet where that wasn’t the case.  But I am a firm believer in cherishing all the small moments of a relationship.  I believe those mean more than anything.  Appreciating that you get to wake up next to someone you love every day, and come home to them after work, and go to bed with them.  That means so much more than a fancy anniversary dinner or an expensive Christmas gift.

After my marriage ended I vowed to stop taking the people I love for granted.  Tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone and I want those I care about to know what they mean to me.

IMG_0483 edit copy-2.jpg

I am currently in the most beautiful relationship I ever could have imagined.  And once I realized how special this man is, I promised myself that I would nurture that crazy-in-love feeling that I experienced at the beginning of our relationship.  I knew I never wanted to forget that feeling.  So we say I love you way too much and we write redundant love letters way too often.  We tell one another how much we are appreciated daily.  We constantly compliment each other.  And I take way too many pictures in hopes of making all my favorite moments stand still for me to remember forever.  This greatest love of my life deserves to be cherished and held on to for dear life.

I'm going to be honest - couple sessions are my favorite.  I love the dynamics and uniqueness of every relationship.  And I really I love to see my clients' reactions to their gallery!

Book your couple session now!  You can have on lots of clothes, a little bit of clothes, no clothes, it doesn't matter to me.  You don't have to be a super touchy-feely, outwardly romantic couple.  I promise I can find a way to show your connection through your photos.

Sweet. Simple. Perfect.

I had the opportunity to photograph an intimate wedding in Toledo this past Saturday.  Laura and Ben had a beautiful, stress-free day.  It was the perfect way to enter into a marriage.  We met up before the ceremony to take some getting ready shots.  The space we used was AMAZING!

The bridal accessories were gorgeous.  Laura's shoes looked like something Cinderella would have worn.

Then I laid eyes on the dress!  SIMPLY STUNNING!  The beading.  The details.  The train.  Absolute perfection!

And the bride's adorable dogs helped too!

We took some family photos before leaving for the venue.

And just a few more of the STUNNING bride.

The reception was held at 20 North Gallery in the historic downtown Warehouse District of Toledo.  Ben and Laura couldn't have chosen a better venue for their ceremony.  It is a gorgeous space that accommodated their guests perfectly.

The ceremony was short, sweet, and filled with love.  Ben's daughter had a special role in the wedding as well.  It was a perfect day.

And just like that… I’m 30!

July 13, 2017

I have been looking forward to this moment since I was an awkward 16 year old girl.  Oh the days of crazy teenage girl emotions and crying all the time and obsessing over teenage boys who were mean to me….

I always knew 30 would be my time!  My prime!  The best year of my life!  The point where I’d be happy and have my shit together and have an amazing career.  30 was going to be IT!

I got a shirt from a thrift store when I was a junior in high school.  It read, “I survived the Paul Sprunk dirty thirty party.”  I vowed that like Paul Sprunk, I too would have a dirty 30 party that people would survive and live to tell about and have t-shirts to prove it!

This year is that year!

It’s been a crazy few years.  I dropped out of medical school (yikes!), got a divorce and started my very own company.  And despite the soul destroying, sad parts of the past couple of years, I have decided to start choosing happiness for my life.  It has changed everything for me!

The coolest part is, now with boudoir, I get to encourage other women to do the same.  I hope I can make an impact on anyone who needs a nudge towards self-confidence.  I want my clients to love their bodies.  I have so many women tell me they aren’t sexy or say they need to lose weight before booking a session.  I’ve even had clients tell me they wish they were skinny like me so the pictures would look better.   Well let me tell you…I am only now becoming comfortable with my body.  Now at 30!  I used to worry and obsess over my cellulite and stretch marks.  I used to stay covered up and wish I could look like other women who didn’t have imperfections like me.  And guess what?!  I’m the same size now as I’ve been since college.  That hasn’t changed.  The difference is I stopped comparing myself to other women and wishing I looked differently.  Instead I started focusing on my personal goals, running half marathons, fitting well in my favorite clothes, and loving what I see when I look in the mirror.  THAT’S ALL THAT CHANGED!

It’s hard to really wrap my mind around what it means to have lived 30 years and thinking about the next 30 is equally as difficult to conceptualize.  But I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in this time so far.  I’m proud of my life and my body and my career.  I’m thankful and I appreciate every day (well most days…we all have bad days.)  It has taken me almost the entire 30 years to get to this point but that’s ok.  Better late than never.

Thank you to David Shockey for helping me with this project.  He is incredibly talented and the only other person I’d trust with photographing my 30th birthday session.  He puts up with my very high maintenance demands for posing and lighting.  Not many people can deal with that!

Miss I

June 6, 2017

This past weekend was the first event at the new Distraction Photo Studio.  David Shockey Photography and Distraction Photo partnered up for the ULTIMATE boudoir experience!

Having TWO photographers during your session means many different angles, different lenses, varied poses, a variety of different shots in the final gallery AND a lot of fun!

Miss I rocked her session!  Not only is she GORGEOUS, but her outfits were PERFECTION!  Miss I has done many photo shoots in the past but this was her first BOUDOIR session.  We are so happy that she chose us for her first one!

David and I have worked together shooting weddings.  We make a great team so we decided to offer the option of having BOTH a male and female photographer for the event.  I’m so glad we did this and I can’t wait to see what fun ideas we think up for FUTURE sessions!

“Having a male boudoir photographer didn't make me uncomfortable.  In fact, I was super comfortable because he knew what poses he wanted me to do and made me feel confident. Having a male and female duo was awesome because they work so well together and both gave their own perspective which made the shoot incredible."

“I would definitely do another boudoir shoot. I’m looking forward to actually doing more boudoir shoots in different locations!  I have already recommended boudoir shoots to my friends. I can’t say enough good things about my experience!  “I know people can be hesitant to do boudoir sessions, just as I once was.   I would say it was one of the best shoots I have done and I’m glad I was open to it. You will need to be open minded. Once you start the shoot you will get comfortable and it will just flow."
